About us

Our Mission

We exist to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by equipping His people to be faithful disciples who make disciples everywhere.

Our Vision of faithful discipleship

1. Love the Word of God

2. Love the Mission of God

3. Love the People of God

4. Love the presence of God

We believe that we will accomplish our mission by following the simple steps of the early church described in Acts 2:42-47.

1. Love the Word of God

We devote ourselves to the Apostolic Teaching.

We become faithful disciples who make disciples by believing, learning, loving, teaching, and obeying the Bible.

2. Love the Mission of God.

We devote ourselves to the Fellowship of the Gospel.

We become faithful disciples who make disciples by gladly and generously using our lives and our possessions to spread the gospel of Jesus in the world.

3. Love the People of God.

We devote ourselves to the Breaking of Bread.

We become faithful disciples who make disciples by frequently participating in family-like gatherings where we worship the Lord and stir-up one another to love and to good works.

4. Love the presence of God.

We devote ourselves to the Prayers.

We become faithful disciples who make disciples by fervently and frequently seeking the presence and the will of the Lord in corporate and individual prayer.

Our Core Values

Unity Baptist Church exists to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by equipping His saints to reflect the glory of the Lord in all areas of society. We pursue this by encouraging one another to love the Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our strength; and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Our desire is to grow in this love and to help others to grow in it as well.

We believe that in Jesus, God the Father, the creator of heaven and earth, conquered the powers of darkness, death and the Devil. In Jesus, God the Father is reconciling all of creation to Himself, and we as His forgiven and redeemed people are indwelt and empowered by His Spirit to serve as agents of this reconciling and restorative work.  As His Spirit works in us, making us more like Jesus, we earnestly work for, and eagerly wait for the day when He will return and the knowledge of the glory of the Lord will fill the earth as the waters cover the seas (Hab. 2:14).

We are committed to this simple but profound truth: the Lord Jesus has called us not only to believe in Him but to also suffer for Him (Phil. 1:29) as we seek to advance His kingdom on earth by laying down our lives for one another in love, just as He laid down his life for us (Eph. 5:2). We have concluded this: "That one died for all, therefore all have died, and he died for all so that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for Him who for their sake died and was raised." (2 Cor. 5:14-15)

We believe that all who follow Jesus, regardless of age, gender, race, cultural/social/economic background, not only ought to, but actually can live in a way that pleases God because of the indwelling Holy Spirit who enables us to reflect and display the very glory, truth, beauty, life and love of Jesus himself.

He is the Lord, we are His people.

He is the Shepherd, we are His sheep.

He is the Vine, we are the branches.

He is the Head, we are the body.

We are the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Eph. 1:23).

Our Pastors

We believe there is only one Senior Pastor, His name is Jesus.

Our pastors are nothing more than fellow sheep who have been called to lead other sheep to follow the Good Shepherd both in what they say and in what they do.
